The thing we like about it is, if you have Alexa, you can sit in front of your telly and say ‘Alexa boil the kettle’ but you still have to get up and make the tea.

This is a fully remote controlled kettle, controlled from your smartphone and linked into your Wi Fi. Alexa and IFTTT compatible.

It does a load of programmable stuff like maintain water temperature, save your the correct  temperature for your favorite brew, time boiling so it turns on just before you get home, all completely unnecessary, but  fun to play with

Tech aside its a pretty good kettle. Nicely styled stainless steel finish with 1.7 litre capacity, the 24.Kw power gives it fast boil and it is quiet too.

We are pleased that it proper full length glass fill windows on both sides, instead of so many modern ones with a single fill window at the back under the handle. Nice stainless finish and easy to use manual controls set in the base, so if your phone battery dies you can still use it!
