Masticating Juicers (slow Juicers) are our recommended type of juicer, unlike centrifugal juicers they do not heat up or aerate the juice deteriorating it and reducing its nutritional value. They extract more juice, can handle a greater range of foodstuffs, including nuts and leaves, they are also versatile and can be used to make nut butters, baby food, pasta and even ice cream.
We believe the very best of these are the Omega range they are expensive but when a company gives 10 & 15 year (Omega US) warranties on its products as standard you know you are buying quality.

Apart from the Omegas our recommended best buy Masticating Juicer is the Matstone 6 in 1 Ivory Juicer, easy to use, easy to clean and it has a 5 Years Parts and Labour Warranty and a 12 Years Motor Warranty. Mid priced at under  £200 this is  much more than a juicer, the only fault is that the chute isn’t wide enough to take whole fruit, so you will have to cut up your fruit / veg before juicing.
